Apana

 

Apana connects the sound of acoustic guitar, cajon and small percussion with wide, spatial electronic effects.

The lead singer of the band is Monika Andriejew-Piotrowska (Moni P), who works with various artists from different parts of the World. She recorded a Moni P album in the legendary Bennett Studio, New Jersey, USA, with world-famous musicians from NY, USA: TONY LEVIN (Peter Gabriel), GARY BURKE (Bob Dylan), PETE LEVIN (Annie Lennox, Paul Simon), DANIEL A WEISS (Joan Osborne), LORENZA PONCE (J. Bon Jovi, Sheryl Crow), PETER SACHON (Billy Joel).

Apana's concerts include unique arrangements of well-known hits by M. Jackson, Sellah Sue, Beyonce, Maroon 5, The Scripts as well as acoustic versions of the band's own songs.

Beside Monika, the Apana members include:

Konstantin "Kostek" Andriejew: guitarist and music producer. His tunes can be found in soundtracks of Hollywood movies, for example: "New In Town", "I Hate VAlentine's Day". Kostek cooperates with top artists in Poland. His last album called “2getThere 2gether” was made with the participation of artists form the Netherlands, Germany, USA, UK, Poland, Australia, Nigeria and Lebanon.

Łukasz Chojnacki - prominent jazz bass player, cooperates with top Polish artists.

Maciej Czarnecki - graduate of Poznan Academy of Music. He's a session musician who finds himself well playing various music styles from all over the world.
